Adhesive Magnets

Adhesive MagnetsHow can I dissolve the glue used to secure the magnets in the speakers?

The magnets stuck between pieces of metal on the back of audio speakers are powerful. What can I use to dissolve the glue holding the magnet to metal?

nail polish remover with acetone in it.

Acetone .... I worked in a business speaker for some time and that is what we used there ... Be careful, you can take it all apart, if you do not care

How about you. . . depends!

Acetone is a good first test so it is in most nail polish.
Gasoline might work.
rubbing alcohol (methanol or ethanol) might work.
WD40, really!

What type of glue influences of solvent to dissolve.

Good luck with it.
