Affordable Thank You Cards

I need some ideas for my thank you cards. I do not want to be just boring, but I do not want to spend three weeks of playing with things either. I do not mind a bit of work to keep it interesting but still affordable. I need more ideas.

I want to keep my shower similar notes on the theme of my shower. We have a wine tasting for two shower my best friend and I are very big into wine and others. What should I do?

We are considering magnets because they are cheap and something practical that people want to keep.

Most stores Affairs Office (ie staples, Lyreco, Business Depot) have special magnetic paper that you can print and customize your own magnets for your guests.
