Baby Gift Thank You Notes

I take my first child is due December 22, my baby shower is scheduled for October 18. It is the first child and the great nephew of both my side and my side to my husband that our families are very excited. My question is my mother and my sister were very good start to buy expensive items my mother once gave us the crib and my sister bought us the stroller car seat / baby and mattress. They are both coming to my shower and I know they are not buying stuff:) I love my family .... anyway I can send notes of thanks now for all they have already given or should I wait after the baby shower so I can give them a word of thanks for all?

What an exciting event on your life, I wish you and your husband and congratulations to the families. I would wait until you have your baby shower until you send thank you cards, until you can say thank you to all verbally. How lucky you are to have families who care. You may feel that there is nothing for you to buy, but believe me that the child grows, there will be many that will be needed. Families love to be involved with the baby's needs. You are so good to allow everyone to get involved because it reconcile them to their new relationship. I wish you all a happy time with your new baby.

I would give them a note. My plan for my parents (or grandparents) who give me great gift is to cook a dinner plus a thank you note.

I just want to give them a general note of thanks. Unless you want to do both, then I buy a special card to store maps, and write a personal note in it.

This is certainly not wrong to write a thank you note. I want to do now. Writing more than one more work for you, but they were very generous and written over a note indicates that you understand their extra generosity and appreciate.

I think you should wait until the shower when you send all the thank you notes.
