Christian Sympathy Poems

Christian Sympathy PoemsWould you tell me what you think of this poem of sympathy that I write?

My best friends mom passed and I went for a walk with her today and she is Christian and the gods of peace, but the pain is deep and it was sudden and unexpected. She still loves the poems I write so do you think this is okay to put on a sympathy card. I wrote it for her ... (Her name is Marie moms too)

Oh Lord, if I
I beg and plead
Hear the words that I speak
See me on my knees
Give my mother back to me!
And God said "No"
Time for her to go
But there is something
you know
Mary asked the same thing
to me
As I hung between two thieves
When my father
told to leave
It must be
Sometimes, God said "No"
When he has a different plan
What you can not understand
What you do not know or see
All he asks that you believe
She is here with me
Yes, only believe
She is here with me.

Surprisingly not hideous. I mean, most of the time when a kid goes on here and posts a poem is like: O - is SOO BAD I just cringe and click the back button. But it's good. I mean, I'm not a Christian myself (me 'n' Jesus we have the same religion you know), but I think I can still weigh in and say this is a decent poem in general. Nice one.

It's really good.

perfect

You have a poet's heart. Well said, I liked the direction that you took explaining your thoughts. She loves him.
I am so sorry for his pain, God bless us in these difficult times with those friends who are left to help our pain. God Speed!

I like it a lot - at a time when our words do not always come as easily, which is good.

very nice, it would be very appropriate ...

I love it! It gave me chills when I read it!

lol
