Do I send thank you cards for gifts baby dedication? We spent eight months for our baby girl on Sunday of the Lord ... This is a dedication Christian baptism is sometimes called a "dry" anyway, we had a lunch of "reception" part of our house and most people from cards with money or a small gift, like a suit ....
My mother and I are all about sending thank you cards, however, she mentioned a baptism / dedciation it is not customary to send cards of thanks, because it is a religious event. Anyone have any experience with this?
We will spend five months of my son in September. I really want to send thanks notes. I am not sure of the custom, but I think you should always send a thank you note after you receive a gift.
How or why would it not customary to thank people for gifts? I think it would be extremely rude if you do not send thank you cards. What religion has to do with anything? If anything, a religious event should be even more likely to send thank you like you should try to lead by example. You have received a gift. It does not matter what it is. This is the label on sending a big thank you.
Also, do not you send Christmas cards or Easter? No offense, but this type of event that your mom think they are?
I think it's always a nice gesture and appropriate / good to recognize a gift.Weddings, baptisms, confirmations, firs ... Communion, all religious events, gifts and cards are dealt and you thank sent.I've never heard it is not customary to send a thank you card for a gift.
We sent thank you cards after my baptism of twins. I think when you receive a baby gift shower wedding anniversary and christening / dedication to Christmas, you must send a thank you card.
When you receive a gift, you must send a thank you card. I've never heard of not sending them because it is an event reglious. You send them for Christmas, right? Send cards.
Congratulations
I think it is polite to send a thank you card every time someone sends you a gift, do not you? I want to send a single card ... it means a lot!
send - thank people for their donations and participation.
