First Anniversary Cards

My husband and I have received cards from our wonderful friends and family for our first anniversary. People usually send thank you notes for this? Or by email, phone call, etc.?

Call people who have sent cards to let them know that you received the cards and are happy to know that you're in their thoughts. This is a good time to catch up, too, with what's happening in your life.

If you can not call them or meet them, please send an e-mail letting them know that you received the card and maybe catch up with your life, telling them how you spent your birthday, or how to hear from you meant to them.
