First Birthday Photo Cards

Hi parents!
It will soon be the first anniversary of our little girl, I just want to know what other parents have done for the anniversary of their first child?
Please share your stories with me!

Neither me nor dad is a good person hosting the party (we're both actually very shy!), Then we will not be holding a party. us only a few members of the family around a small tea party.

But I sometimes think "is it not fair for our girly, if we do not do anything special on the ???"??? days
It could apply to the future "Mom, what we do for my first birthday?" then I'll be stuck!
I do not want her to feel bad for not having something special for his first birthday.

Right, I got her the gifts, and we bought a birthday card, but the time approaches, there is a voice inside me told me that I should really do something special for her?? (As I know she will not worry about this at this age, so I want something special to remain and remind us all how in the future whose first birthday was?)

Would you please just share some ideas here?
Mom and Dad are not very creative, but I do not want our girly miss something, I mean I want to at least try something (not even a special thing) for her!

Something good ...., I need something special that we can talk / look back in the future when she's older.

The most important thing you can do is take pictures and videos of her eating her first birthday cake!

My son turns a year next month and my husband and I are not a party for him at home (everybody lives too far away and our house is very very small!). We will have a small birthday party to each of his grandparents to the House, but only the immediate family. I would not put too much pressure on yourself about it. I never asked my parents what I have for my first birthday when I was old enough to ask them, they probably would not remember anyway! Kids love watching pictures of themselves, and watch a video .... It is very exciting for them! So get out the video camera, go get photos, or just take some pleasure of your own!

We buy our son cool shoes, a walker, building blocks, and probably a few things. I took a day off so I could be with him, intending to buy him a ball years and enjoy spending the day together.

Happy birthday to your little .... I am sure that her birthday will be special as long as she spends with you. No matter what you do!

so our daughters birthday is in July when its good weather for us ... we took her to the walk and went on rides with family and close friends who live about three hours from us .... we took tons of pictures to remember the day .... We ate at the pizzeria on the promenade and the whole restaurant sang happy birthday to her!

2 days later we had a bit part with huge pool atleast 50 +

we took pictures of his birthday the week before and they bring us a cup cake and eat him and snap a few photos on it as the main image for her birthday party invites
