Jewish Wedding Symbols

Jewish Wedding SymbolsCeremony Rabbi / Jewish wedding speech mocking?

My sociology class is the scene of a bogus marriage this week and I'm supposed to be the clergy for the event. The bride is Jewish, so we'll have a Jewish wedding. The only problem is that I can not find anywhere that tells me what to say during the ceremony .. I searched online for some time and found nothing.

So my question is, to marry the groom and the bride, which is typical of the "word" which is made prior to marrying them? Like all "This ring is a symbol of your love" and stuff like that. Any help is greatly appreciated.

idk

Have you looked in your neighborhood or your town for a Jewish Temple? I'm sure if you phoned them and told them that your mission is, they would be happy to assist you.

It's my best advice - go to the source.

You want to make this right? Ok, I'll give you the version Hasidic. Let us know how it goes, as you will be the most knowledgeable out there (I am a rabbi).

1 - The groom has not seen or spoken to the bride in a week.
2 - The newlyweds are in separate rooms. A melancholy melody is sung as the Hasidic fiance is "realized" (arms under his shoulders as he walks) to the bride by her father and father-in-law. he covers his face with a veil.
3 - The father of the bride blessed in Hebrew.
4 - The groom is led to the chuppah (canopy) under the sky / stars
5 - He stands in silence by saying prayers for those who need it, and confessing their sins.
6 - The bride is veiled, which is held by his mother and his future stepmother, who are candles.
7 - The bride circles the groom seven times.
8 - The rabbi gave a speech explaining the meaning of the Union and that means the seven circles, which means the ring and why we break the glass (research on this place like chabad.org)
9 - A friend of the family sometimes reads the ketubah (marriage contract)
10 - A cup of wine is poured. Guests of honor are required to read seven blessings (called brochos sheva)
11 - The groom and bride drink wine.
12 - The ring is set up and controlled by witnesses who say it is worth more than a Prutah (Penny).
13 - The groom puts the ring on his finger wives and Harei wrote the words "mekudeshet li '(you are married to me").
14 - The groom breaks a glass under his foot.
15 - The bride takes off her veil, and the music starts thehappy.

Then the bride and groom usually go take pictures while everyone eats. Next comes the wild, dance-seated separately.

Enjoy!

Have you not googled Jewish wedding??
