Slow Dance
Have you ever watched kids
On a Merry-go-round?
Or listened to the rain
Slapping on the ground?
Always follow erratic flight of a butterfly?
Or gazed at the sun into the fading night?
You'd better slow down.
Do not dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music will not last
Do you travel every day
On the fly?
When you ask How are you?
Do you hear the answer?
When the day is over
Do you lie in your bed
With the next hundred tasks
Throughout your head?
You'd better slow down
Do not dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music will not last.
Never tell your child,
We will do tomorrow?
And in your haste,
Not see his sorrow?
Always lost contact
Let a good friendship die
Because you never had Tim
To call and say "Hi"
You'd better slow down.
Do not dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music will not last.
When you run so fast to get somewhere
You miss half the fun of doing so.
When you worry and hurry through your day,
It is like an unopened gift ....
Discarded.
Life is not a race.
Do slower
Listen to music
Before the song is over.

Such a beautiful poem and the last request. Nearly broke my heart to read. I will try to send as many as I can think of. God bless.
It's so beautiful. I really feel like crying right now. God is with this young lady. I will pray for her. Miracles can happen and I hope she lives long enough to have a full life. It is in my prayers.
