You''re kidding, right? You can get digital memory cards from nowhere. Here's a short list.
photography shops like Jessops and London Camera Exchange.
photographic printing workshops, as Kodak points and Truprint.
The chemists such as Boots and Superdrug
all other general stores in existence, as Sainsburys, Tesco, Morrisons, a single, Londis. Library, computer stores, PC World, guilty, Currys, electrons Shop, Game ....
Should I continue?
Seriously, you can get 1gig memory cards from virtually anywhere that sells electronics. What is most places today.
They do not 1G Smart Media card. Even the smallest become difficult to find that SM is obsolete.
I just checked B & H Photo. The larger SM card they list is 128 MB, and it's out. stock and is $ 62.95 plus shipping, ouch!
You can find one on eBay or the left in stock in a big box store or camera store. I do not want to invest money of the masses in one. Your next digital camera will not use this type of memory.

Good luck tracking a 1GB card - the most I can find on the net is 128 MB - and £ 59 - cheaper to buy an SD or XD card digital camera.
SmartMedia is old technology - XD is preferable Fujitsu much better and more widely available as SD cards.
Deserve consideration:)
