Orthodox Christmas Cards

Orthodox Christmas CardsIs it appropriate to send to a Jew for the holidays?

Religious Jews celebrate the new year in September, and they do not celebrate Christmas. They have a little Hanukkah vacation is not that big of a deal with them that I heard from their other holidays (for example, they can always go to work). I'm mailing my holiday cards - is it appropriate to send one with a snowman on the cover that says Happy Holidays to within a religious Orthodox Jew? It does not say Merry Christmas or Happy New Year. My other card designs are also scenes of snow and say things like Happy Holidays., Would they consider a Christian or harmonic Christmas??? PLEASE HELP I do not want to offend or do the wrong thing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Should I rather than by mail Hanukkah cards to Jews on my list???

It's very nice of you:)

I doubt any Orthodox Jews take offense, but may * involve a snow scene at Christmas. But as you write "Happy Holidays" is not serious:)

Otherwise, you can wait until Rosh Hashanah, our Jewish New Year, then send Jewish New Year cards:)

But I am sure they will appreciate your kindness at all times of the year:)

A snowman card wishing your Jewish friends Happy Holidays is entirely appropriate.

If you're good enough friends with them, they should not care what you send them.

(Except in the case of bacon.)

Nope, it is not. A snowman is a normal thing, it is not considered Christian. :)

It would be good to send a Hanukkah card, but it is not necessary. If your friend knows you're not Jewish, I'm sure they do not expect to send you a map of Jewish themes. I get the message "Merry Christmas" type cards from my Christian friends every year lol :-)

Happy Holidays is allowed.
Inside write
Happy Hanukkah!

A snowman is very good. A snowman or a snow scene did not suggest any type of religion. It's one thing Winter Fun, and you should not be nervous. Most people are not so sensitive to this kind of thing, and if you send that person a card, I'm sure they will appreciate the thought, whatever she has on her. Do not send them a card Hanuka, you do not celebrate it. They are quite good, and they will like getting a card. We are all just people on this earth. Do not be afraid to offend.

It is appropriate to send a card that says "Happy Holidays" with a snowman, because they still celebrate a festival this time of year and many still get the respect of secular day, even if minor compared to their other.

Now, if you send a card of a snowman piss the words Merry Christmas on the words Merry Christmas and baby Jesus Hi-fiving, it would be inappropriate: D

Darling, you're so sweet to think of your friends and you want to send them letters. You know what I think? I think right now all anyone wants to send a little thought and a desire to warm, to hell with all those who "takes note" of it!

Nobody take offense to it. If you want to be sure, write a message in the card saying that you understand and appreciate their religious orientation, but you are thinking of them and I wanted to send them your love (or wishes, or what have you). I can not believe how religion has become politicized. I am a Christian and when someone wished me happy Hannukah, and I thank them! Because I knew they were to tell of the goodness of their heart, they did not say it is bad or anything. So, go ahead, send your card snowman and send their warmest wishes for the cold period of the year =]

Go ahead and send your card! We appreciate the good, and very much many of us would not even if she c.
