Pocket Fold CardsSpecial Events Napkin Folding for your elegant table

Napkin Folds

One way to achieve an elegant look to your table events, especially if you are a conscious consumer is to create beautiful napkin folds of your elegant table. Many times, a towel will both improve the decor of your table. By placing a towel contrasting color ribbon or a flower on a folded specialty add the wow factor of your elegant table.

My philosophy is when the towel is part of the decoration table, I placed in the center of the place setting with silverware on each side in their appropriate investments. You can also create menu cards for the evening and place them in a folded towel that has been specially folded to fit into the menu. Here are some instructions and pictures of some different napkin folds.

Pocket Fold - Fold the most popular event Wynning

1. Take a "18-24" square dinner napkin machine (preferably one that is new or starched) and lay it flat on the table.

2. Then 3 "from the bottom once the towel so that dinner you always have the same width, but the towel is now 3" shorter.

3. Taking the lower part is folded, fold it again 3.

4. Now fold the top edge under the towel 2 "now has a dinner napkin folded edge on top.

5. Fold the right edge of the towel under the left edge and then under the dinner napkin so that now the towel is folded in three.

6. You can then put a flower in the pocket or the dinner menu printed on 5 ½ "x 7" cardstock or silverware.

Tuxedo Fold

1. Take a "18-24" square cloth napkin (preferably one that is new or starched) and lay it flat on the table.

2. Fold the towel fabric in half width, then in half lengthwise keeping the towel is in the quarter on quarter opened the upper left side of the towel.

3. Then roll the first layer of cloth napkin toward you so that the upper left corner has now reached the lower right corner.

4. Fold the second layer toward you and slide under the first layer. The upper left corner of the napkin should be midway in the first layer.

5. Take the next layer of cloth napkin and fold away from you and enter the upper left about one third of the way under the second layer.

6. Then fold the edges left and right at center back.

7. You can then put a flower or silverware in the first fold.

Tie Bouquet

1. Take a "18-24" square cloth napkin (preferably one that is new or starched) and lay it flat on the table.

2. Then fold into a triangle with the tip of the triangle on the upper side and the hypotenuse on the bottom.

3. Take the outer corners and bring them to the top corner to make a diamond.

4. Take the linen napkin in the middle, then put them together and tie with ribbon.

5. You can place the flower in the upper part of the collection.

Butterfly or Fan

1. Take a "18-24" square cloth napkin (preferably one that is new or starched) and lay it flat on the table.

2. Then start a wrinkle on a "1-1 ½ inches wide from the top and fold the linen napkin to you.

3. Turn the napkin over and do the same this time double size of the bottom of the towel and fold away from you.

4. Continue to repeat steps 2 and 3 until you have completely folded towel.

5. Keeping it pinched in the center, tie with a fan and then tape the edges.

In terms of event preparation time and napkin folding, most often at an event Wynning I include this work within the scope of work for the florist that I rent. "I get the napkins in advance of the rental company and give them to my florist. They then fold the towels, put them on the site and place at the table. It is truly amazing how a flower and a special napkin once may mA.
