Sample Birthday Notes

My (female) friend who is very near and dear to me, and his family asked some people to send their blessings and sweet notes of his birthday to come. The problem is ... what to write? It sounds terrible that I sought the advice of strangers, "but I think this birthday card must be particularly sweet, and suddenly I am speechless and my mind draws a blank. Any help on this would be great.
