Do you have samples of thank you card wording for a wedding?

Not attending example:

Dear Tom,
Thank you very much for the (name of the real gift here). We hope (something you do with the gift) soon. Thank you again for thinking of us during this special time in our lives.

Cash Gift:
Dear Tom,
Thank you very much for the generous donation. Spouse and I are trying to put (a house, big ticket item, whatever) and Thank you, we are much closer! Thank you again for being a part of our big day.

Essentially:

Thank you for (GIFT). We will use it (how). Thank you for coming to the wedding. (Try to be specific about something that you remember doing, if you can.)
Love / De / Sincerely (YOUR NAME)

* If it's money, you do not say "money". You can, but you could say "your generosity" or something like that. In addition, if you can think of something you have used your money on what they would appreciate, let them know ("fun on our honeymoon paid invoices "to an advance", etc..) Otherwise, just let them know that "we will use it wisely."

Regarding the wording simply go online.

For every guest, however you're supposed to hand write a thank you note.

For those sending gifts, but do not go to the wedding that you're supposed to send a thank you as well.

They should also be sent during the year after your wedding. Sooner or later, then is the best.

We want to express our gratitude for sharing our special day with us. It was not the same without your presence. Thank you for your donation, and we promise it will be used wisely!

For those who sent a gift: We thank you very much for your generosity in sending us a gift for our wedding. It is very appreciated.
