Shoebox Christmas Cards

Many of my friends send Christmas letters and they are incredibly dull. I need to include a non-mail my friends this year my husband being deployed to Afghanistan, but I really do not want it to be worthy yawn. What alternatives are pleased that I could include in the 100 Shoebox Greeting Cards I send to the beginning of December.
