Special Thank You Notes

Instead of a traditional hand-written thank you note, which is a unique and special to show gratitude for gifts received two very kind and generous friend. One was my 2yr. old birthday girls and one was a housewarming gift for a holiday home we just bought. My friend always gives gifts most appropriate and awesome and I want to thank in a special way instead of a regular thank you note. suggestions?
