Thank You For Your Referral Cards

Thank You For Your Referral CardsHow to get referrals

How to get referrals by keeping in touch and grow your network

Who was the last person who told you they were in a bad day or needs to be comforted?

Who was the last person who told you their wife was pregnant?

Who was the last person who sent you a referral business?

Why do I ask??? Just because these people need to hear you through the written word. I do not mean send them an e-mail either. I speak of receiving them something that is handwritten by you, which is personal. Email is common and will not make you stand out, but the hand writing something in the mail, other than a bill, will.

What have I done?

I had a young lady who has canceled an event at the last minute because his son was taken to the emergency room. I sent a hand written card that was the motivation in nature for herself and her son liked. Ten days later I received a hand written card thanking me for this young lady for taking the time to deal with his situation. Now, clearly, I sent the card because I knew she was in a difficult situation, not try to sell her something. However, do you think she might think of me first if it falls on someone who needs my services?

A wonderful chiropractor (email me if you need a chiropractor NYC by the way, because he seems to know his case) mentioned in one of my tests that his wife was expecting a day. I sent a hand written card newborn and included a special baby pillow as a gift.

I received a very heart warming message phone call to thank me for the card and a gift and really expressing his appreciation for me taking the time to take care of her family. Again, there was no height or selling anything with the card / gift, just a sincere effort to do something nice for someone. Think he may try to keep me in mind if he meets someone who may need my services one day?

A girl that I had not seen for nearly two years signed to a special defense driving class I was registered and offering one of her friends. After the event, I sent him a word of thanks for the referral card and included a Record "on a $ 10 coupon future event."

This girl who I had not seen for nearly two years and has since come back at three other events on her own, and brought a different friend each time. Just show him that I appreciated his guidance not only influenced his return to more events, but resulted in additional references.

Have I done the above, if I should go to card shop to choose a card, hand write a message, choose a gift, put a stamp on the envelope and go to the post office for mail? The answer is probably no.

The nice thing is that I did not! I have done all the above my computer and it cost me less than doing things manually.
